City Splash is a one day bank hol­i­day fes­ti­val which draws a huge crowd because of its extra­or­di­nary line-up. This year’s def­i­nite high­light is the leg­endary singer Beres Ham­mond with his unfor­getable raspy voice. He cap­tures the essence of Lover’s Rock and also deliv­ers strong reg­gae anthems with con­scious mes­sages. Oth­er big names include Aido­nia, Ele­phant Man, and Jada King­dom. Reg­gae is well rep­re­sent­ed by Queen Ifrica, Gypt­ian, Lutan Fyah, The Con­gos… And of course there are many sound sys­tem stages.
