Saturday on the Green Stage opened with Angelica Mava, a 27-year-old newcomer from Sweden making her Summerjam debut. Having visited the festival as a fan for years, this time she finally stepped from the crowd onto the stage herself. Joined by her DJ, she delivered a solid opening set and set the tone for the second day of the festival.

Back Again: Nosliw & Nattyflo
After years away from Summerjam – and from the big stages in general –, Nosliw and Nattyflo made a celebrated return to the festival stage. As pioneers of German-language reggae and dancehall and parts of the influential Rootdown label, they helped shape an entire generation of the scene in Germany. Backed by their longtime companions from Deebuzz Sound in Mannheim, the two friends delivered an energetic set that brought plenty of nostalgia to the crowd – proving that the soundtrack of the early 2000s still resonates just as strongly today.

Junior Kelly Brings Fire to the Red Stage
Junior Kelly lit up the Red Stage with a powerful performance packed with classics including ”Love So Nice”, ”Rasta Should Be Deeper”, ”Power to the People”, and ”Boom Draw”. Combining his unmistakable voice with boundless energy, he delivered the kind of captivating live show that has made him one of reggae’s most respected performers from the Modern Reggae generation. Grace, Power & Presence: Lila Iké
Following the release of her Grammy-nominated masterpiece ”Treasure Self Love”, Lila Iké has been touring relentlessly, bringing her music to audiences around the world. Whether backed by a full band or performing alongside Wurl Sound, her incredible stage presence and unmistakable voice make every show a special experience – and Saturday at Summerjam was no exception. She even welcomed her longtime friend and mentor Protoje to the stage for a powerful rendition of ”All Over the World”. Lovers Rock Vibes by Christopher Martin
Known for timeless reggae anthems such as ”Cheaters Prayer”, ”Mama” and ”Paper Loving”, Christopher Martin has established himself as one of Jamaica’s leading contemporary reggae voices since winning the Digicel Rising Stars competition in 2005. On Saturday, the ”Lovers Man” lived up to his reputation, enchanting the Summerjam crowd with his smooth vocals, heartfelt delivery, and a set full of modern reggae favorites. Nigerian Dancehall Sensation: Patoranking
Making his long-awaited Summerjam debut, Patoranking arrived with an impressive live production, featuring a full band, three backing vocalists, a brass section, two dancers, and coordinated stage outfits that perfectly matched the show’s vibrant aesthetic. Effortlessly blending his signature dancehall sound with Afrobeats and other African musical influences, the Nigerian star had the massive moving from start to finish. Ahead of his performance, Treesha caught up with Patoranking for a conversation about his roots, the importance of education, and the musical influences that have shaped his remarkable career.

The Dappa Don: Dexta Daps
What a show! Dexta Daps made his first-ever appearance at a Summerjam stage and instantly delivered one of the undeniable highlights of this year’s festival. With explosive energy, undeniable charisma, and hit after hit, he had the Red Stage crowd singing every word and made it clear he’s more than ready to return for Summerjam’s 40th anniversary next year. Before taking the stage, Treesha caught up with the Jamaican star for an honest conversation about growing up in Seaview Gardens, the deep connection he still feels to his community, and the experiences that continue to shape his music. And yes – he nearly blew up our microphones while proudly repping his hometown.

The Messenjah: Luciano
Few artists embody the spirit of conscious reggae quite like Luciano. Since emerging as one of the leading voices of the 1990s roots reggae revival, ”The Messenjah” has inspired generations with songs rooted in spirituality, hope, and social consciousness, earning worldwide respect as one of reggae’s most influential cultural ambassadors. His performance at Summerjam reflected exactly that legacy. Deeply spiritual and uplifting from start to finish, Luciano guided the audience through a set filled with powerful messages, timeless songs, and the unmistakable warmth that has defined his career for more than three decades.

Gentleman Feels Right At Home
Few artists are as closely connected to Summerjam as Gentleman. Having graced the festival stage countless times over the years, performing on home turf never seems to lose its magic – and Saturday’s show was another reminder of exactly why he remains one of Summerjam’s most beloved regulars. Opening with his latest single ”Trend” on the ”WYFL Riddim”, he had the crowd in the palm of his hand from the very first note. Backed by The Evolution Band and delivering hit after hit with effortless confidence, Gentleman was in outstanding form, proving once again why his performances have become a cornerstone of the Summerjam experience.

King Time Now: Masicka
Right now, Masicka seems incapable of missing. Fresh off the success of ”Slip & Slide” – one of this summer’s biggest dancehall anthems – alongside recent hits like ”Boasty”, ”La Cabra”, ”Keys”and ”Rich Sex”, the Jamaican heavyweight arrived at Summerjam in top form. Backed by the legendary Ruff Kutt Band, he lived up to his headliner status on the Green Stage, he delivered a relentless, high-energy performance and sent the crowd into overdrive when Dexta Daps joined him on stage for a surprise guest appearance. The chemistry between the two artists doubled the energy and brought Saturday night to a spectacular close.
