For 20 years, the Big­ger Bash­ment at the Faust Cul­tur­al Cen­ter has been a home for reg­gae and dance­hall lovers. What has evolved over more than two decades was far more than just a series of par­ties: it was a gath­er­ing place for the scene, for sound sys­tem cul­ture, and for thou­sands of peo­ple who cel­e­brat­ed, danced, and made mem­o­ries togeth­er.
Nation­al and inter­na­tion­al sounds shared the stage here—including David Rodi­gan, Black Chiney, Dyn­ablaster Sound, Super­son­ic, Mor­tal Kom­bat, Bone­shak­er, Jug­glerz, Herbal­ize-It, Dee­Buzz, Pow Pow Move­ment, Sen­tinel, and Melt­ing Pott, among many oth­ers. Join­ing them were artists and hosts from the glob­al reg­gae and dance­hall scene, such as Gap­py Ranks, Rebel­lion The Recaller, Mil­lion Stylez, Zig­gi Reca­do, Gen­er­al Levy, Fan­tan Mojah, and many more. And that’s exact­ly why this night will be some­thing spe­cial:
The penul­ti­mate Big­ger Bash­ment at the Faust Cul­tur­al Center—together with DJ Bugs and DJ Adirock, who have been part of the par­ty series for many years and have long since become part of the Big­ger Bash­ment fam­i­ly.
Before the grand finale with a top-notch line­up takes place on Sep­tem­ber 19, we’ll cel­e­brate the music, the ener­gy, and 20 years of Big­ger Bash­ment his­to­ry togeth­er once more on May 30.
