After a short cre­ative hia­tus, the Lim­mat Ses­sions are back! Our guests in May are none oth­er than Sil­ly Walks Dis­cotheque! A reg­gae sound sys­tem, pro­duc­tion team, and label that has been active since 1991 and is con­sid­ered one of the pio­neers of the Euro­pean reg­gae scene.

They got their start in the 90s with Gen­tle­man on the mic (who would lat­er become a reg­gae super­star).

Today, the crew con­sists of Oliv­er Schrad­er, one of the project’s founders, and Joscha Hoff­mann.

To this day, Sil­ly Walks remain among the most pop­u­lar and most-booked acts in Europe, tour­ing across the entire con­ti­nent and beyond!

Their musi­cal spec­trum encom­pass­es all sub­gen­res of reg­gae span­ning more than five decades and extends to African club music.

In addi­tion to their activ­i­ties as DJs and a sound sys­tem, Sil­ly Walks also excel in music pro­duc­tion, hav­ing released sev­er­al reg­gae clas­sics such as: Chronixx’s “Smile Jamaica,” Busy Sig­nal & RC’s “Dreams of Brighter Days,” Phenomden’s “Wiedikon,” and many more.

Local Math­ador DJ Miss LRA will han­dle the warm-up.
